Job Description Professionals within Accentures Growth Strategy Practice are focused on working with clients to develop, plan and implement innovative organic and inorganic growth business strategies, which generate long-term business value and competitive advantage.  

 

 

Strategy professionals identify and implement high performance business value creation and transformation opportunities by delivering independent strategic and general management consulting services focused on the CEO and Chief Strategy Officers agenda. 

 

The Growth Strategy M&A Senior Manager will collaborate with client teams to define, architect, drive and deliver transformational growth strategies that generate long-term client value.     Responsibilities

Senior Manager will join the North America Growth Strategy practice and bring leading consulting skills to support clients who seek to develop and/or execute their inorganic growth strategy, conduct pre-deal analysis, analyze transactions, conduct transaction analysis and strategic due diligence, plan and execute post-merger integration, or embark on corporate restructuring and divestitures.  This includes the creation architecture and delivery of value provided by the application of:

  • Strong executive presence and client building / influencing skills
  • Exceptional communication and team building / mentoring skills
  • Ability to drive rigorous, fact-based appraisal of industry performance drivers and competitive dynamics
  • The application of innovative as well as established analytical tools to device a clearly articulated corporate strategy and business value Corporate and business unit restructuring skills
  • Deep industry knowledge and insight within Financial Services

The Senior Manager will support delivery of client work and develop new client opportunities with both existing clients and prospective new clients:

  • Drive rigorous and structured approach to identifying and solving client problems
  • Structure and perform complex financial analyses and develop business cases in conjunction with industry and/or opportunity analyses
  • Lead efforts of managers, consultants and analysts on client engagements to ensure that the focus is correct and the work is accomplished on time, and meets or exceeds the highest quality standards.
  • Structure and develop high impact client communications
  • Conduct work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive positioning
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • MBA Graduate
  • Minimum of 5 years post graduate work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in at least one stage of the merger & acquisition life cycle (with either specific pre- or post- merger experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience at a consulting firm, investment bank or internal consulting or finance position (e.g., corporate development) with a Fortune 500 firm
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry-specific experience within Financial Services
    Preferred Skill Requirements
  • Significant responsibility for identifying and closing sales opportunities
  • Deep functional experience in core shared service "back of the process" (i.e., Finance, Legal, HR), preferably in a merger integration context
  • Significant responsibility developing professional  post (i.e., MBA) talent
  • Client network
  • Extensive network of industry relationships
