JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Directs all investor relations, including communications and presentations to investment bankers, shareholders, investing public and other members of the financial community such as financial analysts and institutional investors to increase the value of the company’s securities.
Manages and controls the messaging and information flow to the financial community consistent with the strategic objectives of the company and in a manner which brings credibility to the company’s story.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides leadership and direction for all Company investor relations activities.
- With corporate planning, assist with analysis, projects and merger & acquisitions, as appropriate. Improve divisional analysis and planning coordination with corporate. Aid with developing improved date to support market trend analysis.
- Manage preparation, production and distribution of quarterly earnings announcements, annual report, investor-related web content and press release.
- Tracks shareholder changes and updates management on volatile or active trading days for the Company.
- Manages the identification and tracking of shareholders.
- Develops targeting strategy for institutional investors.
- Prepares quarterly shareholder activity report for board of directors.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of the Company strategies, products, operations, and financials.
- Advises Treasurer, CFO, COO, and CEO on disclosure issues, shareholder concerns and industry trends.
- Conducts financial analysis on SSCC stock performance and peer companies.
- Updates quarterly production and shipment reports and other decision-relevant reporting.
- With Treasury and Control, participates in sell side investor presentation, especially with financial institution analysis and rating agencies. Improve peer review reporting.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s (MBA) in Finance and/or Accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- CFA or CPA preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage high-stress situations with poise
- Well developed analytic capabilities
