Advises and supports Automotive NAFTA management with up to date standard financial analyses and management information. Contributes to the decision making process with Automotive NAFTA management about courses of action related to business planning. Assists the GM with the setting of targets and the identification of plans and corrective measures needed to achieve the targets within the Automotive NAFTA business.
Your Responsibilities:
a. Coordinates and administers all financial activities for the automotive division within the Region. This includes GL/AP/PR/Payroll/Inventory Accounting/Cost Accounting/Fixed Assets/Tax/Analysis and Reporting.
b. Coordinates the preparation of all CPAR requests for the Automotive Division within Region.
c. Assists with the preparation of the annual Strategic Plan.
d. Coordinates the annual DOR/COSO Business Risk Assessment Process.
e. Leads the forecasting process and the finance and Accounting aspects of the SLA agreement with the PLC organization.
f. Responsible for the installation of effective and up to standard Business Controls in Automotive NAFTA. Reviews and initiates corrective actions based on reports of Internal/External Audits and Self-assessments and Installs effective processes, systems and tools.
g. Manages and coordinates the necessary relationships in the fields of Finance & Accounting inside the Business Unit, with PLC and with PENA. This includes SAP/3.
h. Plays an active role in the transition of all present operational processes executed by PLC to the new situation where a part of the process will be directly managed and controlled by the BU Automotive NAFTA.
i. Review all potential new business opportunities and perform required financial analysis to determine that new business acquired meets the benchmarks set by BU Automotive NAFTA management.
j. Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Profile:
Experience:
• 8 – 10 years financial/analytical experience.
Education/Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Other:
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative for improvement
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with associates between varied business units
• Ability to collaborate with associates in an international environment
