Our client seeks a Product Specialist / Product Development & Marketing Strategist to assist in the launch of a series of US domiciled mutual funds. The Product Specialist / Product Development & Marketing Strategist is responsible for overseeing product development and ongoing management for all product lines, including open-end funds and separately managed accounts. Who we are looking for :
Candidate is expected to 4-5 years related experience in launching US domiciled mutual funds and manage the development of several US domiciled mutual funds, working closely with the product development team oversears , as well as third party mutual fund marketing consultants.Knowledge of and experience in creating Separately Managed Accounts is optimal.Candidatesmust have a strong network throughout the US mutual fund industry, and will manage and build relationships with external organizationsCandidate will interact with all functional groups (including sales, marketing, portfolio management, operations and legal) to support firms US mutual fund and separately managed account businessCandidate will suggest most desirable strategies from a list of strategies firm is already managing. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing marketing plan, growth plan and pricing of funds.Candidate will do extensive competitor and investor research both on own and with outside consultant.
