Job Description: The groups objective is to identify potential investment opportunities for the Firm’s internal investment operations. Associates in the group perform fundamental analysis of financial reports and other filings of publicly held companies, with an emphasis on identifying accounting related clues that may indicate actual or imminent improvement or deterioration in corporate operating performance.FRG operates as an independent unit within the FIRM and has developed a standardized financial model and reporting format. The group’s research forms an integral part of the Firm’s proprietary database on public companies, and is used exclusively by the Firm’s internal investment managers as a basis for allocating additional due diligence efforts in constructing and managing portfolios. QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: The ideal candidate will be a CPA or equivalent with a total of five to seven years experience, including an audit background plus mergers and acquisition due diligence experience, preferably with a big four accounting Firm. Strong written and verbal skills are a must, along with the ability to be productive in a team oriented, fast paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: CPA or equivalent. 4-7 + yrs exp in audit + M&A due diligence exp, prefer big 4 acctg. Ideal level would be a senior or mgr.
