The successful candidate for the Manager of Corporate Accounting will:The accounting manager will be responsible for overseeing all closing activity for several business unitsManage central accounting functions Responsible for coordinating the monthly flash processPrepare balance sheet reporting for GAAP and Regulatory Reporting Ensure the proper preparation, recording, maintenance and control of accounting records and transactions. Design and produces internal financial reportsCoordinate the preparation of the annual budget for Investcorp New York and other companies maintained in New York, and assist in the monthly review of variances Who we are looking for :
Specific qualifications desired:Bachelors degree in accounting or finance,Knowledge of alternative investment operations and regulatory accountingKnowledge of GAAPStrong Excel skillsThe ability to work individually in a detail-oriented and proactive fashion, 8 - 10 years experience are required. Big 4 or large national firm experience and a CPA are preferred, but not required. Whats on offer :
