The role of the Accounting Policy department is to review and monitor accounting policies to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting practices and applicable industry regulations. The Accounting Policy department also assesses and integrates new accounting pronouncements and oversees accounting for significant transactions (including acquisitions and divestitures).
