Assist with all actuarial aspects of rate setting and medical trend estimates for small and mid-sized commercial market groups in the Northeast Region. Develop forecasting models and methodologies. Anticipate matters that affect financial integrity; consult with finance and underwriting teams; partner with general manager to ensure understanding of business issues; conduct actuarial analysis and provide guidance; ensure rate structures are applied appropriately. Apply understanding of the business and actuarial / technical knowledge when addressing issues and making decisions.
