Manage the activities of the General Accounting and Cost Accounting staffs. Responsible for the monthly closing and reporting cycles, including the scheduling of quarterly and year end closings and associated reviews/audits by C&D's internal and external auditors. Ensure that the more complex and newly implemented transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP on a timely basis. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and required disclosures for SEC and internal reporting. Supervise compliance efforts.
