The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for the profitability and growth of an assigned product sold country wide or in an assigned geographic territory. The Assistant Product Manager does not have full profit/loss responsibility, but works with the Product Management team acquiring the skills required to assume full responsibilities. Every important decision related to the product, from design, to pricing to claims handling, is either implemented directly by, or with the input and direction of, the Product Director.
