This person will have oversight and/or interaction with the Heartland Financial USA, Inc. Loan Review, Compliance and Internal Audit functions and provide timely responses to external audit requests, will work in conjunction with Heartland's General Counsel to track and reduce defalcations and will chair the organization's Allowance for Loan Loss Committee and Disclosure Committee as well as be responsible for reporting to the Heartland Audit Committee. The CRO will report directly to the COO.
