Administer and direct the activities of the assigned technical unit in the CSC ensuring adherence to the company's claim policy. Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the claim operation of that unit including staffing, salary administration, performance appraisals, related personnel activities, budgeting and work flow. Provide direction to the claims staff as to the proper disposition of claims including coverage application, legal issues, liability and damage investigations, reserving, settlement evaluation and ultimate disposition of claims.
