The position supports corporate financial interests in South America by acting as the liaison/coordinator between the South America operations and WHQ regarding accounting, tax, treasury, and related legal matters. The position works with the South America operating entities to provide guidance on corporate policy and procedure implementation, and US GAAP reporting assistance as well as work on special projects, e.g. financing arrangements, restructurings, and acquisition/divestiture coordination and integration.
