Directs and administers the business unit's financial operations including minimizing risk and maximizing profits and returns on investment. Manages the preparation and review of budgets, cost accounting, financial reporting and may recommends investment opportunities. Proactively allocates resources and maintains and controls expenses. Recommends strategy for functional and business units they support and ensures the implementation of high-end, business-wide, critical strategy set by senior management. Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role.
