Preparation of external financial results ensuring compliance with GAAP and meeting SEC and OSC regulatory requirements. Prepare and review of internal management financial results; results utilized to assess the performance and measure accomplishments of corporate goals. Present and discuss financial results and other financial matters to key stakeholders: Audit committee, Board of Directors, and executive committee. Ensure that complex accounting transactions are appropriately recorded and disclosed. These include completing the purchase accounting of acquisitions, hedge accounting, stock based compensation, and reviewing new accounting pronouncements for the impact to the Company's financial records.
