Develops and executes the annual internal audit program including compliance and financial audits aimed to improve the control environment to drive efficiency and effectiveness, in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Manages compliance of the Company's internal control policies and procedures. Prepares and presents audit findings for senior management and the Bridgepoint Education Audit Committee. Collaborates with Finance/Accounting; ensures best practices and ongoing compliance with the accounting and disclosure control requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
