Responsibilities for this position include assisting branch offices in meeting their growth and profit goals by providing expertise in commercial casualty underwriting; conducting rate reviews in conjunction with actuarial staff, branch staff, and management to set rates; providing technical expertise to field underwriting staff on the large, complex accounts; performing branch audits, including review of underwriting files for compliance with company guidelines; supporting the branches with the training and development of underwriting staff.
