Knowledge and Application of GAAP: Provide broad-based knowledge and expertise of GAAP to divisional customers. Guide others in the organization on the appropriate accounting of certain transactions from an internal system perspective and a GAAP perspective. As needed, pass knowledge to others on the appropriate GAAP utilized in various areas of medium complexity. Responsible for evaluating and finding solutions to the most routine technical accounting matters to be considered in financial reporting. Is seen as a support person for routine accounting matters throughout the Company.
