Performs complex professional controls and compliance work. Work involves leading or conducting financial and compliance audit projects; providing consulting services to the organization's management and staff; research and guidance for SEC/FASB pronouncements and disclosures; and providing input to development of the annual SOX audit plan. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works independently and under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
