Managers are primarily responsible for client relationships within their area of expertise and for clients assigned to them. Managers direct the work of staff, seniors and supervisors assigned to their client engagements. Tax return review, tax research and planning; dispute resolution with tax authorities (other than standard notice resolution); representing client in tax exams with all issues; field review; participation in pre-engagement meetings. The role consists of primarily SALT and Federal tax work.
