Respond to IRS IDRs and NOPAs. Explain tax return positions to the IRS. Negotiate/assist Sr. Dir. in negotiating IRS audit settlements. Analyze and assess the IRS's tax/legal positions. Develop or assist Sr. Dir. in developing tax/legal positions, including the drafting/editing of position papers, ruling requests and Appeals protests.
