Manage team of Service Technicians and Engineers to ensure all customer needs are met on a timely basis and emergencies are responded to promptly.

 

*** Facilitate safe and proper operation of precision analytical instruments performing High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Spectrometry, Elemental Analysis, and similar.

 

*** Serve as Project Manager for all projects being completed in assigned region.

 

*** Monitor installations, troubleshoots, tune ups, and repairs at customer locations including hospitals, dialysis clinics, research centers, and similar facilities.

 

*** Dispatch technicians on daily service routes and review service concerns with Customers, Sales Engineers, and Branch Manager.

 

*** Provide technical expertise to maximize equipment systems and application benefits to customer. Stay current with chemistry, applications, and regulatory affairs.

 

*** Meet customers to address complex service issues.

 

*** Maintain and manage spare parts inventory for branch and region including accuracy of physical counts.

 

*** Document & review system parameters and ensure quality of service & installation work performed.

 

*** Ensure adherence to Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation principles and practices.

 

*** Supervise direct reporting staff, set employee goals and objectives, and conduct performance reviews.

 

*** Spearhead professional development of service staff through additional training.

 

*** Train customers on operation and maintenance of instruments.

 

*** Assist sales department with new service opportunities to generate additional business.
