Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a well-rounded Sr. Marketing Manager, Major Accounts who will be responsible for developing and executing customized marketing plays to Fortune 1000 companies worldwide that are highly aligned with the sales strategy. Using Account Based Marketing (ABM) methodologies and measurements, you will bring together digital, campaign and field activities to penetrate accounts, or move them through the sales process faster. You will work closely with major account sales management, individual account executives and all marketing functions. 

You will report to the VP of Marketing and be based at our corporate headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. 

What you will do:

  • Work with sales management to sub-segment major account lists around the globe into smaller target lists
  • Develop joint marketing/sales strategies and “plays” for each target account
  • Understand and integrate the nuances of the buyer process and journey by account type and persona
  • Build and execute highly customized demand and field activities to engage each target account
  • Work with partners who have major account presence on execution
  • Measure success using Account Based Marketing (ABM) techniques such as account penetration, engagement, pipeline and revenue

  • Teaming with sales management and individual account executives
  • Designing marketing programs for F1000 prospects
  • Working with resellers, system integrators, service providers and technology alliances
  • Having an “account-first” approach to marketing
  • Influencing individuals and teams that do not report to you towards common business goals
  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail in execution.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines and objectives
  • Getting things done – both well & quickly 

Your Education, Experience & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 8+ years in a marketing or sales leadership role, ideally in the networking industry
  • Track record of building marketing plans for F1000 prospects (large enterprise clients) that yield higher than average pipeline
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing methodologies
  • Working in or with sales organizations
  • International marketing experience
  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional virtual teams to create business results in a fast-paced environment
